Larry and Jo Waddell founded Industrial Scales of Georgia in Mableton, Georgia. Built on a commitment to honest service, technical expertise, and dependable customer support, the company quickly established a reputation as a trusted provider of industrial weighing equipment and scale services throughout the Southeast.
Second-Generation Leadership
Second-generation owner Christina Waddell assumed leadership of the family business, expanding operations and establishing Industrial Scales of Georgia & Alabama, LLC. Under her leadership, the company broadened its capabilities while maintaining the personalized service and integrity that had defined the business for decades.
Thor Scales and Systems
The company has evolved into Thor Scales and Systems under the leadership of President Christina Waddell Thoreson and Vice President Terry Thoreson. While our foundation remains firmly rooted in weights and measures, our expertise has grown to include industrial control systems, plant automation, systems integration, and productivity optimization solutions that help customers operate more efficiently and profitably.
